Oh No! The Crippled Yeti
Imagine my excitement upon arriving home today to find my new Blue Microphones Yeti had been delivered, only to plug it in and discover it is damaged. It'll be another week or so while I send the mic back to Blue and have a replacement shipped, before I can use it. Perhaps I'll record another episode in the meantime using my XBox 360 Rock Band Microphone. Bummer...

You might look into borrowing someone's turtle beach headset, as is has a much better microphone than the rock band one(I think anyway)that you can move away from the air path of talking. It would allow production to continue while the yeti undergoes surgery.
ReplyDeleteTurns out it was just a defective USB cable sent with it. Using a different USB cable it works just fine. Yay Yeti!

ReplyDeleteA lot of what you discuss is at the very least interesting, some of it I completely agree with, but there are a few things that we disagree o. With that, I disagree almost totally with my brother-in-law as well but he and are best friends, second only to my wife.
